


Passionate About Oysters
Having started working twelve-hour days (six-days-a-week) in the busiest Oyster bar in London; Ben mastered incredible technique to his chosen profession. Meeting people from all over the world, building relationships and providing a safe and enjoyable service to everyone he comes across. Since 2014 Ben has gained worldwide recognition for his service; featuring in a popular Chinese cooking-show with celebrity Chef Nic (道鋒味) and also popular TravelBlogs designed for "VisitBritain" and even Lisa Starchak's (Miss Russia 2012) wedding photo's.
"I remember my first day shucking oysters, it dragged on for what felt like a really long time, my hands and wrists were aching and I didn't get any breaks; by the end of the day my wrist had swollen twice the size. My fingers were cut from the knife and the shell, I only had latex gloves! The next day at work was even worse... that was a long time ago now. Looking back on it now, every cut was a lesson, as they say, "Whatever doesn't break you, makes you!", when people see me shuck, they say "You're a beast!", I sometimes show off by doing it behind my back or with my eyes closed, they love it."
After becoming fascinated with the history behind oysters, from the migration northwards along the African coastline during the ice-age to the European settlers in "The Americas", Ben decided to start his own venture. Sourcing Oysters from all over the world as far as New Zealand to provide London & The UK with the very best service and quality oysters.
